What our Snohomish customers say about Sherpa:
“I enjoyed the flex quote provided by Sherpa. The original quote I received was very accurate and it was exactly what happened after the completion of the transport. The final cost in relation to the quality of service that I got was perfect. I got exactly what I paid for and a little bit more because any time that I had a question, I talked to the same person, Tim.”
“My need for transport service went on a computer nationwide and drivers looked at it. A driver, Max, called me before Sherpa did and I told him that since they already saw the job, I would let Sherpa know that they were willing to take it. So, Sherpa contacted the driver and that came on the ball. My communication with Sherpa and the driver was really good.”
“Fantastic service. Got my car shipped without a scratch from Washington state to New Jersey in under a week. No unpredictable fees, everyone was very courteous, no high pressure sales. Price is a little higher but the peace of mind was worth it. Only complaints were that the contractor picking up the car didn`t give me that much notice”

Note: These figures reflect the past 12 months of Sherpa Auto Transport’s vehicle shipments to or from Snohomish, WA. When choosing an auto transport company, it is crucial to select the best car shipping company by considering factors such as reliability, customer satisfaction, and transparency in pricing.
Factors that affect Snohomish Car Shipping Prices
- Distance and Route: The distance between Snohomish, WA and your destination greatly affects car shipping costs. Snohomish’s location near I-5 and State Route 9 can make transport more efficient, potentially lowering costs for shipments along these routes.
- Trailer Type: Open carriers are the most common and cost-effective option for auto transport. Enclosed trailers, while offering extra protection, are about 50% more expensive and may have longer delivery times. They’re typically only necessary for high-value or classic cars.
- Pickup and Delivery Locations: Urban areas like nearby Seattle or Everett often have lower shipping costs than rural locations. Consider meeting your carrier in a more accessible area to potentially reduce your car shipping expenses.
- Seasonal Factors: Snohomish’s climate, with wet winters and mild summers, can impact car shipping. Rainy conditions may slow transport, while summer’s peak season can increase prices due to higher demand.
- Vehicle Size and Condition: Larger or heavier vehicles cost more to ship. Also, operable vehicles are cheaper to transport than inoperable ones, which require special equipment for loading and unloading.
- Timing and Flexibility: A wider pickup window often results in lower car shipping costs. Rush or guaranteed pickup services will increase your auto transport expenses.
Understanding these factors can help you make informed decisions when shipping a car to or from Snohomish, WA. For more detailed information on car shipping costs, check out our car shipping calculator guide. Snohomish, Washington Vehicle Transport FAQs
How do I prepare my vehicle for transit to or from Snohomish?
See our Vehicle Shipping Tips for details about how to prepare your vehicle to / from Snohomish. In short, you’ll want to remove any toll pass or fragile items, make sure you have a key available to provide the carrier, and remove any interior and exterior accessories that could be damaged in transit.
Is my vehicle insured transporting to or from Snohomish?
Yes, our quotes are all-inclusive. All of our carriers are required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $100,000 in cargo insurance. To ship your vehicle, we verify that the carrier’s insurance policy is valid and in good standing for the duration of your shipment.
All contracted carriers also add Sherpa as a Certificate Holder on their insurance policy.
How far out should I schedule my pickup service from Snohomish?
The sooner, the better. We recommend at least two weeks, but it’s ideal to post your shipment as soon as possible so that carriers can bundle your shipment with others in the same location.
How do I pay for my auto transport to Snohomish?
No payment is due at the time of booking. We do require a payment method on file so that it is available to charge once a carrier is secured. We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. The most convenient option is to pay for your shipment in full by credit card at the time a carrier is secured.
We also allow you to pay for your Initial Payment via credit or debit card and then pay the outstanding balance on delivery day via cash or a certified check made out to the carrier.

Reviews from our Washington Customers
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as evidenced by our 4.9 rating with over 8,000 reviews. Here are a few more reviews from satisfied Washington customers:
“My experience was wonderful with Sherpa. Everything went exactly as promised and as requested. From the very first time I contacted Sherpa, they were clear about what they offered and I appreciated the clarity of what I needed to do. I had it in writing. I asked the first fellow that I talked to for a quote and he was very clear about what that cost included, when and how much I would owe the driver, and what form of payment was needed. He also assured me that there would not be any additional costs. $300 was to reserve my transport. There was an offer for $100 back once the delivery was made. I just needed to send them the bill of lading. Yesterday, I received the gift card with the 100 bucks on it. The transport was from Seattle to Palm Bay, Florida. I was staying in a hotel by the time they came and picked up the car. My husband and I were a little nervous about how they were going to pick up the car. But they planned ahead and were totally prepared. They came in a vehicle that was small enough to go in downtown Bellevue so that was really nice. The car was in perfect condition and the driver was so accountable. They made everything easy. Things were perfect from start to finish. I would use Sherpa again.”
“We had never shipped a vehicle prior to this occasion and weren`t really sure how to do it. We researched the various companies and found that Sherpa Auto was considered one of the top 5 auto brokers/shippers in the country. As a broker, they require the shippers to carry $1M in insurance, which means they are invested in the process. Their shipping cost was mid-range of the other top auto shippers/brokers and they very clearly explained the shipping/bidding process. The shipper that accepted the contract was Comic Transportation based in Federal Way, Washington. The driver was courteous and professional, and he thoroughly explained the process of shipping the vehicle. Throughout the process, the driver maintained contact with us and gave us plenty of advance notice as to when the car would be picked up and dropped off. While he was a couple of hours late picking up the vehicle from the pickup point, it was understandable due to unforeseen circumstances. The vehicle was delivered to the drop-off destination a day early–no scratches or dents and just needed a good washing, for which they did provide a credit to have the car washed. We would definitely use Sherpa Auto again for any future shipping needs because they offer peace of mind that the process will go smoothly without any glitches.”
“I rarely leave reviews for things, but I wanted to for Sherpa because it was my first time shipping a vehicle and I chose Sherpa as my broker, and everything went great! They chose West Coast Auto Transport as my carrier (which they assigned very quickly) for shipping my car from WA State to Maryland, and their drivers were so kind and professional. They picked up my car on the first day of the pickup window, and despite a delay in delivery, the carrier gave me an update and the driver for delivery was very communicative about arrival and it truly was door-to-door service! He parked his truck down the road and personally drove my vehicle right to my apartment building door – so awesome! I will absolutely use Sherpa again for any future car shipping needs.”
“I highly recommend Sherpa Auto Transport. This was my first time shipping a vehicle and from my first conversations with Dillano and Clayton, to the final delivery of my vehicle, I couldn`t be more happy with this service. This was a transport from Seattle, WA to Harrisburg, PA. All aspects of transport were explained thoroughly and clearly by Dillano and Clayton before even committing to using Sherpa. The friendly and professional driver also provided great communication via text and phone calls for pickup of vehicle and delivery at its final destination. It couldn`t have gone more smoothly. Thank you so much for making what seemed like an intimidating process an easy option.”
“I can`t express enough how incredibly great and smooth my experience was with Sherpa. From the moment I first called them and spoke to a representative to the handling over my keys. They communicated with me almost daily to make sure I understood the process and had contact with my deliveryman. His name was Phillip from Spokane Wa and he was super courteous and right on time down to the last minute. He had constant contact with me as well. Super pleased with the quik delivery and incredibly exceptional service. They never veared from their original quote even when my delivery address was mildly changed. Said it was going to possibly take up to 10 days to get from Cheney, Wa to Nw West Virginia but took less than a week. I recommend this company to anyone! I give them 10 stars☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆”

What is Car Shipping?
Car shipping, also known as auto transport or vehicle transport, is a specialized service provided by car shipping companies to move vehicles from one location to another. Whether you’re buying or selling a car online, relocating to a new home in Snohomish, or needing to transport a vehicle abroad, car shipping companies have the expertise and equipment to handle the job safely and efficiently. These companies use specialized carriers and trailers to ensure your vehicle is transported securely, giving you peace of mind throughout the process.
About the Car Shipping Industry
Car shipping is a fascinating industry. There are Carriers – the businesses that pickup and transport vehicles – and there are Brokers – the businesses that help Carriers source their customers. Carriers are primarily mom & pop small businesses who own and operate their trucks and trailers – many of whom own and operate their businesses out of Washington. This means there are thousands of carriers and this fragmentation creates a need for centralization. That’s why Carriers rely on Brokers – like Sherpa – to help optimize their loads and source business for them. Sherpa vets Carriers and has a strict list of requirements for any Carrier looking to do business with Sherpa Auto Transport.
