They even came in a day early than they said. The driver would text me every time like where he was gonna be, where he`s at now, and when he was gonna get there. He texted me the day before saying he was going to be in the vicinity at around X amount of time. It was perfect. The driver knew where we are going and dropping off my car was super easy. He was at the mall and it was great because he said he might be running late. I was having dinner with friends. I told the driver to let me know when he got there and I would run out and give him my keys. He kept me in the loop the entire time. We had snow so that was an issue. It was the same thing going in. We had to go a little further but it was not a big deal. He was right on like what time to pick up so that was fine. My husband said the car was gonna come washed but it didn`t. The car arrived really dirty but that didn`t bother me. I just did that drive so I understood. I was driving from Chicago to here. I went through a windstorm or tornadoes through Oklahoma, snow and fall staff, and a sandstorm somewhere in Texas. It definitely was a lot of debris. On the whole, call direct and book Sherpa. It was a no-brainer. You put your stuff in and they come.”
“The gentleman from Sherpa who assisted me was very informative, explaining the whole process. He told me what to be aware of and of how other companies can take advantage if you don`t know what you`re looking for. He didn`t say that he was the right choice. He said it was my choice to select the company I wanted to use for my auto transport. So, I felt confident that he provided me with the right information. I spoke to others as well and they were much higher. So, I went with the one that was best for my budget. Sherpa was very straightforward and even gave me the opportunity to select who I wanted to choose. They weren`t going to be the best choice but I went with them because they were truthful and honest about the process. Shawn, the driver, was wonderful. His partner reached out to me and informed me that they would be able to pick up my car. She told me what day they would be picking it up and what day to expect it here in my area for delivery. So, she kept me engaged as far as giving me a status. When they knew they weren`t gonna be able to make it a day earlier, they were very upfront, giving me a call to tell me that the driver had a delay, there was no additional fees for that delay, and was still able to get it to me on the day that they originally stated it would. So, it was very good communication. Then, when the vehicle got here, it was very easy to find the gentleman. We met in a public location, in a Walmart parking lot, for the driver’s safety because of how big of a rig he was driving, and for my safety, too, not knowing whom I was going to be meeting with. I had a nice conversation with the gentleman. My husband and I both felt like he was a straightforward, very good guy. And it was simple and very easy. I was quoted 725. I paid 250 for the deposit and my card did not get charged any more than the 250. I had to provide 475 cash at the time of delivery, which I was able to do. And everything was fine. There was no fluctuation in the cost.”

I was connected with Scott who explained the process to me. I took the info and compared with other companies. Sherpa stood out with the price guarantee and great reviews so they were my choice. They let me know that a driver had accepted my bid and that I would get another call about 24 hours prior to transport. I got the call and they picked up my car the next day. I landed in Texas the next morning and as I was leaving the airport in an Uber, my phone rings saying that my car had been unloaded and the driver was waiting on me. How in the world?! They called me right back and said, “We still haven`t found a driver for you, but we`ll get you something right now.” They didn`t realize I was anxious. They had a lot of information on their website. They were very prompt and they allayed my fears and said, “We haven`t found anyone yet, but if you need a name right now, we`ll get you one.” It worked out really well. In the payment way, the driver that they got wanted a little more cash so they reduced their fee that they would take from my card. But the problem was the young lady that was receiving the car only had so much cash and she`s a student. I said, “Well, look, can I just pay that difference to the driver upfront?” They said that was fine. When the driver came, I said, “I`ll give you the cash and then you can just email that you got the money.” He sent me a text that this was received so I had a record. That made me feel comfortable that he received that cash. When he arrived, he just took the additional cash from the young lady I was sending the car to. They were flexible and honest about the transaction. I would encourage people to use Sherpa. To drive the car would have cost me just as much money with hotel stays and gas. The stress would have been so much more too. You have to drive it 1,800 miles for three days and it would have been terrible. Sherpa delivered the car right when they said they were going to deliver it.”
