What our Broken Arrow customers say about Sherpa:
“Sherpa lived up to its 4.9 star rating when I inquired about transporting a vehicle. My wife and I did something we’d never done before and purchased our personal vehicle in a state 1200 miles from home so now what? The dealership did not offer shipping so now we were about to embark on another first, arranging our own shipping. After doing our due diligence we went with Sherpa Auto Transport. We spoke with three different reps throughout our experience all equally knowledgeable about the company they represented, locked in prices for the mileage of transport as well as insurance and types of services available and the contractors they use. I had contact information for the contractor for our transport and even the drivers information. The bill of lading was electronic and professional, I received an email after delivery before the driver left the drop off location. Heck Sherpa even offered to reimburse us up to $20 for a car wash if you happened to pick up some dust, dirt or pollen along the way. That kind of customer service just makes good sense in my book! It just may make the next long distance purchase like this a little less complicated and lot less stressful. Much appreciated, Dennis & Robbin Enid Oklahoma“
“Reviewed and contacted several auto transport co, was not happy with any of the reviews or conversation I had with the reps. (First time having cars shipped). The quotes changed constantly, and reps were eager to get credit card info. Reach out to Sherpa and admit was a little skeptic because they answer all my questions, explain the process thoroughly and gave a binding quote which the other transport co. did not do. Sherpa rep was very patience and honest when answering questions and did not rush me to make a decision. The next day I decide to go with Sherpa. The carrier reached out the same day and pick up vehicle less than 24 hrs after I contacted Sherpa. Carrier gave delivery date of 2-4 days from Oklahoma to the Washington DC area.”
“Ist time to use an auto shipper. I chose Sherpa because of Chris upfront clear explanation of what is involve with shipping a vehicle. I appreciated calling the 250 broker fee instead of a deposit. The car was shipped from Denver to Oklahoma City. I did not receive clearance to ship until just after noon on Wednesday. I called Chris-he released my contract to picked up from Wednesday through the following Tuesday. This gives the best opportunity to be picked up within 5 business days. Within 36 hours it was on a truck. Sherpa negotiated with the trucking company without changing my total cost.”

Note: These figures reflect the past 12 months of Sherpa Auto Transport’s vehicle shipments to or from Broken Arrow, OK. When choosing an auto transport company, it is crucial to select the best car shipping company by considering factors such as reliability, customer satisfaction, and transparency in pricing.
Factors that affect Broken Arrow Car Shipping Prices
- Distance: The length of the journey from or to Broken Arrow, OK significantly impacts car shipping costs. Longer distances generally mean higher prices, but per-mile rates often decrease for longer trips.
- Transport Type: Open carriers are the most common and cost-effective option for auto transport to or from Broken Arrow. Enclosed transport, while about 50% more expensive, offers extra protection from Oklahoma’s sometimes harsh weather conditions.
- Vehicle Size: Larger or heavier vehicles, such as SUVs or trucks popular in Oklahoma, typically cost more to ship than standard cars due to the space they occupy on the carrier.
- Route Accessibility: Broken Arrow’s proximity to major highways like US-51 and I-44 can help keep shipping costs down. However, if your pickup or delivery location is in a more remote area of Oklahoma, it may increase the price.
- Seasonal Factors: Oklahoma’s weather can affect car shipping prices. Winter storms or summer heat waves may impact transport schedules and costs. Additionally, snowbird season can increase demand and prices for routes to and from warmer states.
- Vehicle Condition: Operable vehicles are easier and cheaper to transport. If your car doesn’t start or roll, expect to pay more for specialized equipment needed to load and unload it.
- Timing and Flexibility: If you’re flexible with your pickup and delivery dates, you may find better rates. Rush or guaranteed delivery services to or from Broken Arrow will typically cost more.
Understanding these factors can help you plan your car shipping to or from Broken Arrow more effectively. For a detailed breakdown of car shipping costs, check out our car shipping calculator guide. Tips & Tricks for Saving on Vehicle Shipping
- Book early: Schedule your Broken Arrow car shipping at least two weeks in advance. This allows carriers to optimize routes and potentially offer discounts for bundling multiple vehicles.
- Choose open transport: Opt for open shipping to get the lowest rates. While enclosed carriers are necessary for some vehicles, open transport offers more flexibility and cost-saving opportunities.
- Strategic pickup/dropoff: Consult with Sherpa advisors to find locations near major interstates like I-44 or US-412. This can significantly reduce fuel costs for carriers, potentially lowering your price.
- Empty your vehicle: Remove personal items to reduce weight and avoid potential liability issues during transport.
- Be flexible: Offering date flexibility for pickup and delivery can lead to better options and potential savings. Consider adjusting your schedule to take advantage of more cost-effective transport times.
- Consider seasonal timing: Auto transport to and from Broken Arrow, OK, may be more affordable during off-peak seasons. Spring and fall often offer better rates compared to busy summer months.

Is my vehicle insured transporting to or from Broken Arrow?
Yes, our quotes are all-inclusive. All of our carriers are required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $100,000 in cargo insurance. To ship your vehicle, we verify that the carrier’s insurance policy is valid and in good standing for the duration of your shipment.

No payment is due at the time of booking. We do require a payment method on file so that it is available to charge once a carrier is secured. Reviews from our Oklahoma Customers
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as evidenced by our 4.9 rating with over 8,000 reviews. Here are a few more reviews from satisfied Oklahoma customers:
“My son is in the Navy and was relocated to San Diego and we needed to ship his car out to him. Sherpa wasn’t the cheapest transport company, but when they said they were going to pick up the car, and when they were going to deliver it, that’s what they did. Sherpa was very forthcoming in what they were talking about. Also, whatever price they quoted, that was the price it was going to be. There wasn’t going to be a bump up in price. The delivery of the vehicle was great. The driver was also really professional. I was told who I was going to get a phone call from, so I could put that in my phone. They contacted me two days out and then on the day before and in the morning of, they kept me updated. Another thing that people need to take into consideration is that these trucks are massive, there is no way they can get into a regular neighborhood. Sherpa was upfront about saying they are not going to be able to get into a gated neighborhood.”
“Sherpa Auto Transport had a really great price when I had them ship a Maserati and a Yukon XL. They were also able to do it right away and the time they were going to keep my vehicle is the shortest out of any company that I called. The cars were picked up on a Thursday and they were handed to us on a Saturday which blew my expectations out of the water. And the guy that dropped off my car was amazing. He moved the Maserati it like a pro and I told him that I’d never seen anybody get the car off of the trailer the way he did. I have seen guys use stacks and Styroform and it’s a scary process. But the guy drove his back wheels upon the big blocks that flatten the trailer out and the car slid right off. Everything was perfect. We were very satisfied and I would recommend them.”
“I have to say Sherpa Auto transport did a great job guiding me through our first auto transport from CA to FL. I had questions, I had concerns and I had a great deal of anxiousness with the whole industry after reading so many horror stories. Sherpa followed through on what was promised and any time I emailed or called they were there for me. The trucking company that ultimately handled the car was GREAT! GCRB Express and their driver beat the hurricane! Our car was scheduled to go through the pan handle and into Florida just as Idalia was arriving. I put an Airtag in our car to keep track of it and well lets just say I was shocked to see the driver haul ass and beat the hurricane. I would have been absolutely ok if he would have stayed put somewhere but he assured me that he was ok and wanted to get home before things got bad. He did ! great experience all around.”
“I was glad that I chose Sherpa Auto Transport to transport my Buick from Utah to Oklahoma. Sherpa was quick and efficient at answering my questions, finding a driver, and making pick up and delivery times. Once I agreed on the terms, the pick up was just a few days after. There was frequent communication during the entire six days. The car arrived without any scratches or difficulties. They carry sufficient insurance. The driver was courteous, professional and answered all my questions. I am so glad that I chose to have Sherpa transport the car rather than me driving it during this winter.”
“We were very happy with our experience, the car was delivered earlier than we expected, with no damage. We ended up paying a bit more than was expected $1200 to ship a car from San Diego to Oklahoma, But we had no surprise charges at the end when the driver dropped the car off.(which has happened to us before with a different company). The car shipping business I’ve come to learn is quite complicated (brokers, carriers, etc), and Sherpa was very communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. I’d use them again.”

What is Car Shipping?
Car shipping, also known as auto transport or vehicle transport, is a specialized service provided by car shipping companies to move vehicles from one location to another. Whether you’re buying or selling a car online, relocating to a new home in Broken Arrow, or needing to transport a vehicle abroad, car shipping companies have the expertise and equipment to handle the job safely and efficiently. These companies use specialized carriers and trailers to ensure your vehicle is transported securely, giving you peace of mind throughout the process.
About the Car Shipping Industry
Car shipping is a fascinating industry. There are Carriers – the businesses that pickup and transport vehicles – and there are Brokers – the businesses that help Carriers source their customers. Carriers are primarily mom & pop small businesses who own and operate their trucks and trailers – many of whom own and operate their businesses out of Oklahoma. This means there are thousands of carriers and this fragmentation creates a need for centralization. That’s why Carriers rely on Brokers – like Sherpa – to help optimize their loads and source business for them. Sherpa vets Carriers and has a strict list of requirements for any Carrier looking to do business with Sherpa Auto Transport.
