What our Winter Garden customers say about Sherpa:
“The company we used through Sherpa was Muscle Auto Transport, and we had a phenomenal experience. Sherpa made it so easy. The drivers, Sergio and Mark, were great. They were super kind to her. They were very thorough according to what my mother-in-law said. They were very flexible with us. If I were ever to do it again, I’d go with Sherpa.”
“Sherpa’s price lock promise was a good lock in. That was a plus on their side. I spoke with the guy who set it all up for me and he sounded nice, professional and sincere. I was kept informed of where the car was and when it was expected. Sherpa worked with me with the payment, the pickup and the drop-off. They were always there when I called. It was excellent. I will use them again when I need to get my car back to Winter Garden.”
“I picked Sherpa because they were the only ones that answered the phone and said their company name and they have the price lock thing where people aren’t gonna get charged anything extra. The Sherpa guy was nice. The car was transported to Winter Garden, Florida, which is right outside of Orlando. Overall, Sherpa did exactly what they said for the price they said they would and they were great people to deal with.”

Winter Garden, Florida Vehicle Transport FAQs
How do I prepare my vehicle for transit to or from Winter Garden?
See our Vehicle Shipping Tips for details about how to prepare your vehicle to / from Winter Garden. In short, you’ll want to remove any toll pass or fragile items, make sure you have a key available to provide the carrier, and remove any interior and exterior accessories that could be damaged in transit.
Is my vehicle insured transporting to or from Winter Garden?
Yes, our quotes are all-inclusive. All of our carriers are required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $100,000 in cargo insurance. To ship your vehicle, we verify that the carrier’s insurance policy is valid and in good standing for the duration of your shipment.
All contracted carriers also add Sherpa as a Certificate Holder on their insurance policy.
How far out should I schedule my pickup service from Winter Garden?
The sooner, the better. We recommend at least two weeks, but it’s ideal to post your shipment as soon as possible so that carriers can bundle your shipment with others in the same location.
How do I pay for my auto transport to Winter Garden?
No payment is due at the time of booking. We do require a payment method on file so that it is available to charge once a carrier is secured. We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. We provide one locked-in price upfront and stick to it. If unexpected costs arise, we pay them out of our own pocket. While we may not always be the cheapest option at first glance, our commitment to transparency and reliability offers exceptional value. Reviews from our Florida Customers
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as evidenced by our 4.9 rating with over 8,000 reviews. Here are a few more reviews from satisfied Florida customers:
“The guys that run Sherpa are very communicative and they respond quickly. They got me a price I expected and it didn’t go up at all. They were also able to find me a driver who was excellent within the timeframe that I needed. Sherpa`s cut on my deal was around $300. You can find it cheaper if you want to but I had a specific need. I had to get my car out of my garage quickly and up to Pennsylvania, and they were able to get the job done. I would definitely recommend them.”
“I had a four-door Jeep Wrangler transported from Florida to Arizona. Sherpa was very customer-service-oriented when I spoke with them. The reviews about the company really swayed me to use their service. The gal that helped me was personable and explained things well. The price lock option was very nice and I liked that. It was very helpful. Also, the final cost was reasonable. I had one other company that was a little less expensive and the service was great. But I wanted to go with someone I felt more comfortable with. The only thing is they don`t give you an idea of who`s gonna be picking up the car until the last minute. It`s a little scary waiting until the last minute to know for sure if they`re gonna pick it up. But that`s just how the industry works.”
“It was easy setting up the transport, but the time that was given was delayed a couple of times because the driver got delayed in traffic. But it was the same day. After I had this car in Florida, I like it so much that I had to bring it back to Philadelphia for the summer season. So, I contacted Sherpa because they had done a good job bringing the car down to Florida back at the end of December of 2022. I gave them a window and they said the driver would contact me a day ahead of time. I was leaving for the airport at 10:30 and I told the driver that we could meet by then, but he said he could not. So, I had made arrangements to leave the car, and he picked it up at around noon that day, about two hours after I had left.”
“Just used them to transport my mom`s old 1993 Del Sol from Inverness, FL to Pittsburgh, PA. Created the request on Sat 7 Oct. Same day I received confirmation of the booking and price (lower than the other companies I contacted). Received an email on Sun 8 Oct that they were still searching for a driver. On Mon 9 Oct, I received an email indicating a driver was located. At 3 PM I received a call informing me the driver would like to pick up at 6 PM the same day. Wow that was quick. Driver arrived at 6:40 pm on Mon 9 Oct – first working day after my initial contact. The driver did call me directly to confirm the person she was to obtain the car from – my sister. Since the truck was so large and my Pittsburgh location is down narrow streets, I decided to change the delivery location to a barely used strip mall directly off the interstate. On Tue at 9:10 AM I texted the new location to my Sherpa contact. My Sherpa contact agreed and indicated the car should be delivered the same day. The driver did call me, 30 minutes before she expected to arrive at the strip mall parking lot. Wow by 6:30 PM on Tue 10 Oct the car was delivered in perfect condition. Seriously it could not have been easier or better service delivered. I highly recommend Sherpa Auto Transport!!!!”
“When researching companies to ship my 2012 Kia Sorento cross country Sherpa Auto Transport stood out as exceptional–by previous customers. I subsequently chose Sherpa, and they exceeded my expectations! They tell you what to expect throughout the process, and proactively followup with you at every step. Their pricing was reasonable and I even got a promised rebate for providing certain documentation at the conclusion of the shipment. The shipment went perfectly from the advanced price quote, to auto pick up, to the final delivery. Despite a snowstorm on the receiving end, my auto was delivered within 10 minutes of the agreed on meeting time– and in perfect condition. I now know first-hand why they received the top customer evaluations–they deliver on their promises & commitments! Highly Recommend for your auto transport needs!!!”

What is Car Shipping?
Car shipping, also known as auto transport or vehicle transport, is a specialized service provided by car shipping companies to move vehicles from one location to another. Whether you’re buying or selling a car online, relocating to a new home in Winter Garden, or needing to transport a vehicle abroad, car shipping companies have the expertise and equipment to handle the job safely and efficiently. These companies use specialized carriers and trailers to ensure your vehicle is transported securely, giving you peace of mind throughout the process.
About the Car Shipping Industry
Car shipping is a fascinating industry. There are Carriers – the businesses that pickup and transport vehicles – and there are Brokers – the businesses that help Carriers source their customers. Carriers are primarily mom & pop small businesses who own and operate their trucks and trailers – many of whom own and operate their businesses out of Florida. This means there are thousands of carriers and this fragmentation creates a need for centralization. That’s why Carriers rely on Brokers – like Sherpa – to help optimize their loads and source business for them. Sherpa vets Carriers and has a strict list of requirements for any Carrier looking to do business with Sherpa Auto Transport.
