What our Titusville customers say about Sherpa:
“It took them about five days to deliver the car and they didn`t scuff up its bottom like a transporter I had once before. In my experience with car transport, I`ve had three, they were hell to deal with. But it was quick and easy dealing with Sherpa. They called me at the last moment, telling me one of their drivers pulled out on them, but they managed to come back and they fixed that.”
“It didn’t take me too long to get my date I wanted to sent my car from Crestview, Florida to Denver Colorado. I gave Shane the date May 23rd I asked for and the driver arrived on that day I asked for. The dispatcher from the company assigned for me were incredible, the lady dispatcher were on top of informing me on date when the driver will come to pick my car.”
“We had two cars to transport from south florida to San Diego. Our sons are both marines newly stationed in CA and they needed their cars. I spoke to another transport company who quote $2500 per car. When I said I wanted to get other quotes, I was sternly informed that I would not find nothing better. Lol.”

Factors that affect Titusville Car Shipping Prices
- Distance: Titusville’s location on Florida’s Space Coast affects shipping costs. Longer distances, such as transporting a car from Titusville to the West Coast, will be more expensive than shorter routes within Florida or to nearby states.
- Transport Type: Open carriers are the most common and cost-effective option for car shipping to or from Titusville. Enclosed transport, while offering extra protection, is about 50% more expensive and typically takes longer.
- Vehicle Size: The dimensions and weight of your vehicle impact shipping costs. Larger vehicles like SUVs or trucks will cost more to transport than compact cars due to the space they occupy on the carrier.
- Route Accessibility: Titusville’s proximity to major highways like I-95 can help reduce costs. However, if you’re shipping to or from a more remote area away from main routes, expect higher prices.
- Seasonal Factors: Florida’s hurricane season (June to November) can affect car shipping prices and availability. Additionally, snowbird season in winter months may increase demand and costs for routes to and from Titusville.
- Vehicle Condition: Operable vehicles are cheaper to ship as they can be driven onto the carrier. Inoperable cars require special equipment, increasing the cost of auto transport services.
- Timing and Flexibility: Opting for a wider pickup window can lead to more competitive rates when shipping a car to or from Titusville. Rush or guaranteed pickup services will increase the price.
Understanding these factors can help you get the best rates for car shipping services in Titusville, FL. For more detailed information on pricing factors, check out our car shipping calculator guide. Tips & Tricks for Saving on Vehicle Shipping
- Book early: Schedule your car shipment at least two weeks in advance. This allows carriers to optimize routes and potentially offer discounts for bundling multiple vehicles from Titusville, FL.
- Choose open transport: Open shipping offers the lowest rates and greatest flexibility for negotiating prices. While enclosed carriers are necessary for some vehicles, open transport is generally more cost-effective.
- Strategic pickup/dropoff locations: Consult with Sherpa advisers to find locations near major interstates like I-95, which runs close to Titusville. This can significantly reduce fuel costs for carriers.
- Empty your vehicle: Remove personal items to reduce weight and avoid potential liability issues. Car shipping companies aren’t responsible for items left in the vehicle.
- Be flexible: Offering date flexibility for pickup and delivery can lead to better options and potential savings. Consider adjusting your schedule to take advantage of more cost-effective shipping times.
- Opt for terminal-to-terminal service: While Sherpa specializes in door-to-door delivery, some companies offer terminal-to-terminal options which can be more economical if you’re able to drop off and pick up your vehicle at designated locations.

Titusville Car Transport: Local Insights and Regulations
When shipping a car to or from Titusville, FL, it’s crucial to be aware of local vehicle requirements and regulations. Florida doesn’t require vehicle inspections for registration, but it’s wise to ensure your car meets basic safety standards. If you’re moving to Titusville, you’ll need to register your vehicle within 30 days of establishing residency. The process is straightforward and can be completed at the Brevard County Tax Collector’s office.
For toll roads, Titusville residents typically use the SunPass transponder. If you’re shipping your car from Titusville, remember to remove your SunPass to avoid unnecessary charges. When settling in Titusville, you may need to obtain a parking permit, especially if you live in areas with restricted street parking.
Titusville’s subtropical climate can affect your vehicle, so consider this when using car shipping services. The hot, humid weather can be harsh on car exteriors, so investing in a good car cover is advisable. Also, be prepared for occasional severe weather, including hurricanes, which might impact auto transport schedules.
When moving to Titusville, set up utilities early. Florida Power & Light provides electricity, while the City of Titusville manages water services. For internet, providers like Spectrum and AT&T offer services in the area. Don’t forget to update your driver’s license and register to vote at the local DMV.
If you’re moving away from Titusville, remember to forward your mail, cancel local memberships, and return your library books. Titusville’s proximity to Kennedy Space Center makes it a unique place to live, so take advantage of local attractions before you leave.
Whether you’re moving to or from Titusville, choosing a reliable car shipping company is crucial. Ensure your chosen provider is familiar with Florida’s roads, including I-95 and US-1, which are key routes for car transport in the area. With proper planning and the right auto transport partner, your move to or from the Space Coast can be smooth and stress-free.

Is my vehicle insured transporting to or from Titusville?
Yes, our quotes are all-inclusive. All of our carriers are required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $100,000 in cargo insurance. To ship your vehicle, we verify that the carrier’s insurance policy is valid and in good standing for the duration of your shipment.

Reviews from our Florida Customers
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as evidenced by our 4.9 rating with over 8,000 reviews. Here are a few more reviews from satisfied Florida customers:
“Our daughter was moving from Florida to California for a transfer with her job and she needed to ship a 2010 Toyota RAV4. She looked at a few transport companies online and contacted one company. They took a deposit and sent the contract. But we didn’t like the terms of their contract at all and they didn’t have a very good rating on the Better Business Bureau. Then, we found Sherpa and we went with them. We’re very happy with our experience from start to finish. Their name is very cool and certainly good marketing on their part because it’s easy to remember. The customer service rep we had answered very quickly and explained the whole process. He told us a little bit about how the industry works and a little bit about how we don’t pay a deposit until we see the contract. The contract was just attached to the quote so we could take a look at the whole thing and see what we were getting into. Then we called back and told them to go ahead and look for a driver for us. It was a very easy transaction and their people were very good to talk to. They didn’t pester us, they told us what we needed to know, and were very professional. The cost was slightly higher but we liked their betting process. We felt like we were probably going to get a better-quality driver with valid insurance so to us, it was worth a little bit more money. It was certainly something we could live with because we would then have an assurance that we were getting somebody who we really wanted to trust our car to. And the terms of the contract were quite reasonable, especially compared to the other one we looked at before. We were working under a pretty tight deadline around the holidays, so we were concerned that things might be delayed. But Sherpa found someone and about half an hour later, we were meeting with the driver to drop the car off. Sherpa had to pay a free-hand to get someone to do the transport but they didn’t pass the cost on to us, which was very wonderful. The driver was very reputable and he was taking a lot of care documenting the car`s condition before it got on the truck. Also, the route from Florida to California was the only run that he did, so that made us feel better. We met him again with our daughter on the other end and he was very professional as well. He delivered the car right on time and very close to our daughter`s apartment. Everything was perfect. We would use Sherpa again and we would recommend them.”
“Sherpa is very reliable and honest. They’ll take care of your car as their own. I like their fixed rate guarantee. I was afraid that once I commit to the other companies and once the driver came to pick up my car, they’d charge up additional fees and I wouldn’t be able to refuse because I got my flight already scheduled. During the pickup, the driver called me up and told me that his truck wouldn’t be able to go inside my apartment complex. We agreed to meet up somewhere very near that was also convenient on his part. I had some luggage inside the car and he didn’t charge me extra for that. He updated me every time during the transport. He even made sure that my bumper won’t be blown away because it was a little bit wiggly. He put a tape on it and made sure that everything would be fine. During the delivery, he texted me three hours before he arrived here. He told me that his truck wouldn’t be able to enter our neighborhood because the streets were a little bit narrow. Again, we agreed to meet up somewhere that was very convenient with his truck. It’s only five-minute walk from my house.”
“Sherpa’s price lock promise was a good lock in. That was a plus on their side. They were the only ones that I saw that offered it, which might have helped me in that decision besides flipping a few coins. I spoke with the guy who set it all up for me and he sounded nice, professional and sincere, and that was also helpful. I was kept informed of where the car was and when it was expected. I paid Sherpa a $200 down payment to set the date and there was another balance of 13.50. They wanted cash on the barrelhead when I pulled in but my daughter didn`t have the cash. I could put the money in her account and she`d have to take the money out of her account to get the cash. But since I`m paying for it, it was easier that it goes directly to where I want it to go. I sent $50 while the car was en route and Eric, the driver, said it went through. I told them that I’ll do the balance when they get there, after my daughter has checked out the car. And I did. It worked fast. But at first, they were a little hesitant about that and the other people weren`t even giving me much of a choice on that either. Sherpa worked with me with the payment, the pickup and the drop-off. They were always there when I called. It was excellent. I will use them again when I need to get my car back to Florida.”
“If you`ve never used a transport company, read this first . . . One thing to know is if you fill out any form online, you will be bombarded with thirty phone calls, texts, and emails — 30 for each. It was non-stop. My fault for not thinking. Next thing to know is that there are many scam artists who will take your money. Nothing against call centers in another country but the manipulating tactics of these “salesman” made me uncomfortable. We had two cars to transport from south florida to San Diego. Our sons are both marines newly stationed in CA and they needed their cars. I spoke to another transport company who quote $2500 per car. When I said I wanted to get other quotes, I was sternly informed that I would not find nothing better. Lol. The way transports work is that your “transport need” gets posted on a “board” where the actual transporters or transport companies will bid on them. They need their transport truck to be filled. Sometimes, if the quote the company you called (which is a middle man, not the transporter) doesn`t get filled, you will get a call from that company asking you for more money to entice. Transporter to take your bid to transport your cars. You will deal with NONE of that with Sherpa Transport. They guarantee the first price quote in writing that you accept. And there is not a single fee or hidden charge after that. I had such a bad experience with the dozens of calls and abusive quotes that I asked the Sherpa agent how this whole thing works. He as honest and explained it all to me. Then he explained they only with with insured vetted transporters. The experience with the transporter was incredible. The dispatcher called me a few days early and communicated with me the name of river and time window. Then the actual driver called me. He was an Angel! He was so kind and friendly. His truck was top notch and IMMACULATE! I knew the cars would be safe. We paid around $1300 each ($2600 total). Considering the insurance costs, gas, cost to maintain those trucks, and time, it was worth every penny. But the peace of mind was out of this world! I had a safe feeling with Sherpa. I spoke to several agents because my first agent was off the next day when I was due to sign. Every person I spoke to was highly respectful and helpful (night and day to the other companies I spoke to). Note that you have 24 hours to take the quote. You won`t have to worry, you are making the best decision. Great job Sherpa! And reward your agents! They are well trained and caring which is hard to find in this day and age”
“Just used them to transport my mom`s old 1993 Del Sol from Inverness, FL to Pittsburgh, PA. Created the request on Sat 7 Oct. Same day I received confirmation of the booking and price (lower than the other companies I contacted). Received an email on Sun 8 Oct that they were still searching for a driver. On Mon 9 Oct, I received an email indicating a driver was located. At 3 PM I received a call informing me the driver would like to pick up at 6 PM the same day. Wow that was quick. Driver arrived at 6:40 pm on Mon 9 Oct – first working day after my initial contact. The driver did call me directly to confirm the person she was to obtain the car from – my sister. Since the truck was so large and my Pittsburgh location is down narrow streets, I decided to change the delivery location to a barely used strip mall directly off the interstate. On Tue at 9:10 AM I texted the new location to my Sherpa contact. My Sherpa contact agreed and indicated the car should be delivered the same day. The driver did call me, 30 minutes before she expected to arrive at the strip mall parking lot. Wow by 6:30 PM on Tue 10 Oct the car was delivered in perfect condition. Seriously it could not have been easier or better service delivered. I highly recommend Sherpa Auto Transport!!!!”

What is Car Shipping?
Car shipping, also known as auto transport or vehicle transport, is a specialized service provided by car shipping companies to move vehicles from one location to another. Whether you’re buying or selling a car online, relocating to a new home in Titusville, or needing to transport a vehicle abroad, car shipping companies have the expertise and equipment to handle the job safely and efficiently. These companies use specialized carriers and trailers to ensure your vehicle is transported securely, giving you peace of mind throughout the process.
About the Car Shipping Industry
Car shipping is a fascinating industry. There are Carriers – the businesses that pickup and transport vehicles – and there are Brokers – the businesses that help Carriers source their customers. Carriers are primarily mom & pop small businesses who own and operate their trucks and trailers – many of whom own and operate their businesses out of Florida. This means there are thousands of carriers and this fragmentation creates a need for centralization. That’s why Carriers rely on Brokers – like Sherpa – to help optimize their loads and source business for them. Sherpa vets Carriers and has a strict list of requirements for any Carrier looking to do business with Sherpa Auto Transport.

By choosing to ship a car, you avoid the wear and tear of long-distance driving and potential road hazards. This makes car transport a cost-effective and stress-free solution for relocating your vehicle to or from the historic Space City.
Choosing the Right Auto Transport Company
When choosing a car shipping company for Titusville, FL, prioritize reputation and experience. Look for providers with a track record of successful auto transports, especially those familiar with Florida’s unique climate and coastal routes. Ensure the company offers adequate insurance coverage and has a clean safety record with the FMCSA. Quality customer service is crucial, as is transparent pricing. Be wary of unusually low quotes or companies demanding large upfront deposits. A reputable car transport service should offer clear communication throughout the process, from pickup near Kennedy Space Center to delivery at your destination. By considering these factors, you’ll find a reliable partner for your Titusville car shipping needs.
