What our Palm Bay customers say about Sherpa:
“The transport was from Seattle to Palm Bay, Florida. I was staying in a hotel by the time they came and picked up the car. My husband and I were a little nervous about how they were going to pick up the car. But they planned ahead and were totally prepared. They came in a vehicle that was small enough to go in downtown Bellevue so that was really nice. The car was in perfect condition and the driver was so accountable.”
“The whole experience was perfect, my driver Renier was fantastic. I could never have asked for better service from pickup to drop-off. Went from Fl to Mn in a matter of 2 days. I would DEFINITELY recommend this company. Rating 5 stars to perfect.”
“Outstanding company! I recently had death in my family and had to get my uncle’s car from Florida to Maryland. The paperwork to change ownership of the car was slow, but Sherpa Auto Transport stayed in touch with me. They called once a week to ensure me that the price we had initially agreed to would still be honored. They were very compassionate about my situation.”

Note: These figures reflect the past 12 months of Sherpa Auto Transport’s vehicle shipments to or from Palm Bay, FL. When choosing an auto transport company, it is crucial to select the best car shipping company by considering factors such as reliability, customer satisfaction, and transparency in pricing.
Factors that affect Palm Bay Car Shipping Prices
- Distance: The length of the journey significantly impacts car shipping costs to or from Palm Bay, FL. Longer distances generally mean higher prices, but per-mile rates often decrease for longer trips.
- Transport Type: Open carriers are the most common and cost-effective option for auto transport to Palm Bay. Enclosed transport, while about 50% more expensive, offers added protection from Florida’s intense sun and occasional tropical storms.
- Location Accessibility: Palm Bay’s proximity to I-95 and US-1 makes it relatively accessible, potentially lowering shipping costs. However, deliveries to more remote areas of Brevard County may incur additional fees.
- Seasonal Factors: Florida’s mild winters make year-round car shipping viable, but prices may increase during peak tourist seasons or when snowbirds flock to the Sunshine State.
- Vehicle Size and Weight: Larger or heavier vehicles, like SUVs or trucks, typically cost more to ship to Palm Bay due to the space they occupy on the carrier.
- Vehicle Condition: Inoperable vehicles require special equipment for loading, increasing the cost of auto transport to Palm Bay.
- Flexibility: Being flexible with pickup and delivery dates can lead to more competitive car shipping rates for Palm Bay routes.
Understanding these factors can help you estimate the cost of shipping your car to or from Palm Bay, FL. Tips & Tricks for Saving on Vehicle Shipping
- Book early: Schedule your Palm Bay car shipping at least two weeks in advance. This allows carriers to optimize routes and potentially bundle your vehicle with others, increasing the chances of a lower rate.
- Choose open transport: Opt for open car shipping to get the best prices. While enclosed transport is necessary for some vehicles, open carriers offer more flexibility and cost-effective options for most cars.
- Select strategic locations: Discuss with Sherpa Auto Transport advisors about pickup and drop-off points near major highways like I-95 or US-1. This can significantly reduce fuel costs and potentially lower your auto transport quote.
- Empty your vehicle: Remove all personal items from your car before shipping. This reduces weight and eliminates concerns about item safety during transport.
- Be flexible: Offering date flexibility for pickup and delivery can lead to better car shipping options and potential cost savings. Consider a range of dates rather than a fixed schedule.
- Leverage Sherpa’s expertise: Our experienced team understands the nuances of Palm Bay car shipping. We can provide personalized advice to help you find the most cost-effective auto transport solution while ensuring your vehicle’s safe arrival.

Is my vehicle insured transporting to or from Palm Bay?
Yes, our quotes are all-inclusive. All of our carriers are required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $100,000 in cargo insurance. To ship your vehicle, we verify that the carrier’s insurance policy is valid and in good standing for the duration of your shipment.

Reviews from our Florida Customers
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as evidenced by our 4.9 rating with over 8,000 reviews. Here are a few more reviews from satisfied Florida customers:
“Top Line Auto Service based out of California dropped the car off. The two brothers met me. I had spoken to Joseph on the phone, and figured out what direction they were coming from, which was east from Florida. And based on where I live, I gave them the best place that I thought would be the easiest to pull up an 18-wheeler, and with a truckload of cars, to offload it and meet them to where they could easily get back on the interstate again and go about their day without having to snake through city traffic. We got that place lined up. It was a few miles away from my house. They called me numerous times when they were on the way and got there. The car was dirty, but I expected it to be. It was raining and it was an open truck. But other than that, no damage to the vehicle. The brothers were incredibly friendly and professional people that if I had to use anybody again, I would recommend them and Sherpa.”
“It didn’t take me too long to get my date I wanted to sent my car from Crestview, Florida to Denver Colorado. I gave Shane the date May 23rd I asked for and the driver arrived on that day I asked for. The dispatcher from the company assigned for me were incredible, the lady dispatcher were on top of informing me on date when the driver will come to pick my car. Also I’ve been receiving email from Sherpa information about facts what to expect during the time I will get the car till it arrived to my son`s place. The drivers they hired were so experienced and courteous as well as the dispatcher. I asked the driver if I can put a little gift to my daughter in the trunk and it arrived safely. It took only 2 days to reach the destination as stated by Shane and the sweet drivers.”
“The pickup was in a rural part of Florida and I was concerned that it was off of a major highway. But that didn`t make a difference. Once they made their commitment that they would pick up the car around 4:00 on that Wednesday, they were there on point. We were able to put a few boxes in the car that I would have had to pay UPS or ship my uncle`s personal things. But I made sure that there was no obstruction of view and the front seat was completely clear of anything. They exceeded the expectations in terms of delivery. We weren`t expecting it until Saturday or Sunday. But they were there before 4:00 on that Friday, which would have been the 27th of August.”
“There were no changes in the price once it was set up. They put it on the board and within an hour or two, it was accepted. The final company that picked it up got in touch with me and it all went very smoothly. The driver was concerned about getting into the development where I live and having so many cobblestones because it`s a tractor trailer. But he did a very good job. He contacted me before he got here and to let me know he was an hour away. Sherpa did a nice job photographing the vehicle and they picked it up down in Florida. They took all the pictures of any kind of dings or scratches. The only thing that I would suggest is that they allow you to see that on the bill of lading before they get here.”
“From the day the vehicle was picked it up to drop-off, that was seven days. The driver was a really good guy. I had his number and the truck had LoJack on it so I could keep track of the vehicle. It was fun. The app would tell you if your car exceeds the maximum limit and I kept getting these notifications. You could see he was on the interstate highway and cruising along. He never exceeded the limit by that much. The driver picked up three cars in Florida and they all got dropped off in California. We were the first drop-off. When he got to New Mexico, I thought we were gonna get the car in three days. But he stayed in New Mexico for two days. On the whole, he got the vehicle to us within the timeframe told to us, which was six or seven days.”

What is Car Shipping?
Car shipping, also known as auto transport or vehicle transport, is a specialized service provided by car shipping companies to move vehicles from one location to another. Whether you’re buying or selling a car online, relocating to a new home in Palm Bay, or needing to transport a vehicle abroad, car shipping companies have the expertise and equipment to handle the job safely and efficiently. These companies use specialized carriers and trailers to ensure your vehicle is transported securely, giving you peace of mind throughout the process.
About the Car Shipping Industry
Car shipping is a fascinating industry. There are Carriers – the businesses that pickup and transport vehicles – and there are Brokers – the businesses that help Carriers source their customers. Carriers are primarily mom & pop small businesses who own and operate their trucks and trailers – many of whom own and operate their businesses out of Florida. This means there are thousands of carriers and this fragmentation creates a need for centralization. That’s why Carriers rely on Brokers – like Sherpa – to help optimize their loads and source business for them. Sherpa vets Carriers and has a strict list of requirements for any Carrier looking to do business with Sherpa Auto Transport.
