What our Country Club customers say about Sherpa:
“It didn’t take me too long to get my date I wanted to sent my car from Crestview, Florida to Denver Colorado. I gave Shane the date May 23rd I asked for and the driver arrived on that day I asked for. The dispatcher from the company assigned for me were incredible, the lady dispatcher were on top of informing me on date when the driver will come to pick my car.”
“The transport was from Gainesville, Florida to Charlotte and it took about seven hours. And with regards to cost, everything stayed the same. The driver was nice and let me know when he was there. He had to park the vehicle up on the street and then drive the car down in the neighborhood, which is fine.”
“I arranged for shipping my daughter`s vehicle from Florida to California. When I called Sherpa`s 800 number the process was fully explained, which was important to me as it was the first time I ever shipped a car. The car was picked up a day or two outside of the originally scheduled window but that was OK with me — Sherpa kept me constantly informed of the situation.”

Note: These figures reflect the past 12 months of Sherpa Auto Transport’s vehicle shipments to or from Country Club, FL. When choosing an auto transport company, it is crucial to select the best car shipping company by considering factors such as reliability, customer satisfaction, and transparency in pricing.
Factors that affect Country Club Car Shipping Prices
- Distance: The distance between Country Club, FL and your destination greatly impacts car shipping costs. Longer distances typically mean higher prices, but per-mile rates often decrease for longer journeys.
- Transport Type: Open carriers are the most common and cost-effective option for auto transport to or from Country Club, FL. Enclosed transport, while about 50% more expensive, offers extra protection for high-value or classic cars against Florida’s occasional heavy rains or tropical storms.
- Vehicle Size: Larger or heavier vehicles, such as SUVs or trucks, cost more to ship than standard cars due to the space they occupy on the carrier.
- Seasonality: Auto transport prices to and from Country Club, FL can fluctuate based on the time of year. Summer months and January tend to see higher rates due to increased demand, particularly with snowbirds moving vehicles to and from Florida.
- Route Popularity: Country Club’s proximity to major highways like I-95 and the Florida Turnpike can potentially lower shipping costs, as carriers prefer routes along main thoroughfares.
- Delivery Timeframe: Opting for a flexible pickup window can result in more competitive pricing for your car shipping service. Rush or guaranteed delivery dates typically come at a premium.
- Vehicle Condition: Operable vehicles are less expensive to ship than inoperable ones, which require special equipment for loading and unloading.
Understanding these factors can help you make informed decisions when shipping a car to or from Country Club, FL. Tips & Tricks for Saving on Vehicle Shipping
- Book early: Schedule your Country Club car shipping at least two weeks in advance. This allows carriers to optimize routes and potentially offer discounts for bundling multiple vehicles.
- Choose open transport: Opt for open car shipping to get the lowest rates. While enclosed carriers are necessary for some vehicles, open transport offers more flexibility and cost savings.
- Pick strategic locations: Consult with Sherpa Auto Transport advisors to find pickup and dropoff points near major highways like I-95 or Florida’s Turnpike. This can significantly reduce fuel costs and overall shipping expenses.
- Empty your vehicle: Remove all personal items from your car before shipping. This reduces weight and eliminates potential liability issues for the auto transport company.
- Be flexible: Offering date flexibility for pickup and delivery can lead to better options and potential savings on your car transport. Consider adjusting your schedule to take advantage of more cost-effective shipping times.
- Consider seasonal timing: If possible, avoid peak shipping seasons in Country Club, FL. Winter months often see an influx of snowbirds, which can drive up car shipping costs. Planning your auto transport during off-peak times may result in lower rates.

Country Club, Florida Vehicle Transport FAQs
How do I prepare my vehicle for transit to or from Country Club?
See our Vehicle Shipping Tips for details about how to prepare your vehicle to / from Country Club. In short, you’ll want to remove any toll pass or fragile items, make sure you have a key available to provide the carrier, and remove any interior and exterior accessories that could be damaged in transit.
Is my vehicle insured transporting to or from Country Club?
Yes, our quotes are all-inclusive. All of our carriers are required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $100,000 in cargo insurance. To ship your vehicle, we verify that the carrier’s insurance policy is valid and in good standing for the duration of your shipment.
All contracted carriers also add Sherpa as a Certificate Holder on their insurance policy.
How far out should I schedule my pickup service from Country Club?
The sooner, the better. We recommend at least two weeks, but it’s ideal to post your shipment as soon as possible so that carriers can bundle your shipment with others in the same location.
How do I pay for my auto transport to Country Club?
No payment is due at the time of booking. We do require a payment method on file so that it is available to charge once a carrier is secured. We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. The most convenient option is to pay for your shipment in full by credit card at the time a carrier is secured.
We also allow you to pay for your Initial Payment via credit or debit card and then pay the outstanding balance on delivery day via cash or a certified check made out to the carrier.
Can I pack personal items inside my vehicle?
Your Sherpa shipment includes up to 100 lbs of personal items or household goods stored in the trunk area or secured below the window line. Do I need to be present at both pickup and delivery?
Yes. It is important that you, or another adult that you trust, is there for pickup and delivery of your vehicle. This designated person plays an important role in the shipping process including documenting the state of the vehicle and signing the Bill of Lading, which acts as a receipt of the vehicle’s condition.
What’s the difference between Open vs Enclosed Auto Transport?
Enclosed transport is at least 50% higher than open trailers. Of course, if there are transportation restrictions or safety challenges the carrier will work with you to arrange an alternative location, such as a nearby gas station or parking lot.

We provide one locked-in price upfront and stick to it. If unexpected costs arise, we pay them out of our own pocket. While we may not always be the cheapest option at first glance, our commitment to transparency and reliability offers exceptional value. What types of vehicles can you transport?

Reviews from our Florida Customers
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as evidenced by our 4.9 rating with over 8,000 reviews. Here are a few more reviews from satisfied Florida customers:
“My fiancée is a wizard when it comes to doing her due diligence and finding the best companies and reading reviews. I asked her to pull her magic and let me know what she thought, and Sherpa was in the top five transport companies and were actually the first ones to answer the phone or respond to my call. Joseph was the gentleman that I talked to. He was very professional and friendly. He made me feel very comfortable with using the company to broker the deal for me. Top Line Auto Service based out of California dropped the car off. The two brothers met me. I had spoken to Joseph on the phone, and figured out what direction they were coming from, which was east from Florida. And based on where I live, I gave them the best place that I thought would be the easiest to pull up an 18-wheeler, and with a truckload of cars, to offload it and meet them to where they could easily get back on the interstate again and go about their day without having to snake through city traffic. We got that place lined up. It was a few miles away from my house. They called me numerous times when they were on the way and got there. The car was dirty, but I expected it to be. It was raining and it was an open truck. But other than that, no damage to the vehicle. The brothers were incredibly friendly and professional people that if I had to use anybody again, I would recommend them and Sherpa. I was very worried throughout the process because I have never purchased a vehicle that I have never seen before, or even driven or heard it idle. They got it to me and it was in good shape. And everything was good. I enjoyed it. Plus they were cool. They had a very exotic, classic car on the truck and they had to offload it to get my car off. They opened the doors and let me peek my head in and take a look at it, and I drooled a bit at how cool the car was. Sherpa`s quote was better than anything that I had received other than ones that were scams. I`ve never done this before. I just signed up online and I was hammered with emails and phone calls from a lot of people that were trying to, “Oh, I`ll beat this price. I`ll do this price.†And I was getting quotes that seemed too good to be true, and they were, because once I went and got my fiancée to do her magic and look these particular companies up, she was like, “Yeah, that`s gonna be a no. Each one of those has terrible reviews and they`re scams.†Because they quoted me 500 bucks, $600, that type of stuff. What Sherpa quoted me wasn`t gonna fluctuate. If it did, they would apply money towards it if need be. It was right on the money. The transport was part of my car purcahsing process that was the fastest, streamlined and very much worth the money that I paid for.”
“The initial quote was more than reasonable given the short turnaround time that I needed. In my uncle`s shipping, Sherpa had to use their guaranteed thing. It`s $300 give or take once they issued the quote to the customer. I contacted them on a Thursday or Friday of the week before and they went through the weekend and they let me know that they would be closing down Saturday evening. My uncle was a little worried and I told him that the people have to have downtime and we`d hear from them by Sunday evening. Sure enough, around 7:00 in the evening, an email came across saying that they were still working on getting the driver. Having dealt with car transport before, they`re all on the same leaderboard. Once the car description is put in, everybody`s looking at it and they know exactly who`s been selected and it doesn`t pay to jump around. The pickup was in a rural part of Florida and I was concerned that it was off of a major highway. But that didn`t make a difference. Once they made their commitment that they would pick up the car around 4:00 on that Wednesday, they were there on point. We were able to put a few boxes in the car that I would have had to pay UPS or ship my uncle`s personal things. But I made sure that there was no obstruction of view and the front seat was completely clear of anything. They exceeded the expectations in terms of delivery. We weren`t expecting it until Saturday or Sunday. But they were there before 4:00 on that Friday, which would have been the 27th of August. When they called me, I was at the gas station in Orlando. My uncle was at his home in Live Oak. Once the guy told me what the deposit was going to be because that had changed, I said, “Give me five minutes to call my uncle and let him know that you`re going to be calling him and give him your name because he`ll be giving you his financial information for payment.” He did that and he had cash available to pay them when the car dropped. Also, my uncle placed the Bible on the dash of his vehicle and he told me that the service was so good that the Bible was in the exact same spot when the car arrived. They took pictures and there were no scratches, no dents, and no oil leaks from other cars. They couldn`t have made my uncle happier. Sherpa would be number one on my list without a question and I would recommend them.”
“I purchased a vehicle that was located in Florida and I`m located in Connecticut. So, I needed to transport the vehicle. I went online and Googled transportation companies. For the most part, choosing Sherpa had to do with the reviews that I was seeing on Google. They were good. I dealt with three people and everybody was very professional. They gave me a price right up front and there weren’t any shenanigans. As it turned out, I was able to even get a $100 rebate on my original price because I asked them. So that was great, too. There were no changes in the price once it was set up. They put it on the board and within an hour or two, it was accepted. The final company that picked it up got in touch with me and it all went very smoothly. The driver was concerned about getting into the development where I live and having so many cobblestones because it`s a tractor trailer. But he did a very good job. He contacted me before he got here and to let me know he was an hour away. Sherpa did a nice job photographing the vehicle and they picked it up down in Florida. They took all the pictures of any kind of dings or scratches. The only thing that I would suggest is that they allow you to see that on the bill of lading before they get here. I didn`t get a bill of lading until the driver showed up and he took pictures of the car after he took it off the trailer. Then, that was added to the bill of lading. I would have liked to have seen that before I accepted delivery of the vehicle. I had to give the driver a check for 500 bucks when he took the vehicle off the trailer but there was no way for me to look at the car. It meant that I would have to go back to them. You couldn`t do that right when he took the car off the trailer. But the bill of lading was sent to me immediately after he took the pictures and I signed for it. It was right in my email immediately, so that was good. Everything was very smooth with my experience with Sherpa and the car even got here a day early.”
“We purchased a vehicle in Florida and needed it transferred to California. I called a couple of companies and Sherpa had the better price. They had some good reviews too. I spoke with their guy to set up the transport. I had to change dates because the paperwork didn’t go through and they changed it for me. It was an easy setup. From the day the vehicle was picked it up to drop-off, that was seven days. The driver was a really good guy. I had his number and the truck had LoJack on it so I could keep track of the vehicle. It was fun. The app would tell you if your car exceeds the maximum limit and I kept getting these notifications. You could see he was on the interstate highway and cruising along. He never exceeded the limit by that much. The driver picked up three cars in Florida and they all got dropped off in California. We were the first drop-off. When he got to New Mexico, I thought we were gonna get the car in three days. But he stayed in New Mexico for two days. On the whole, he got the vehicle to us within the timeframe told to us, which was six or seven days. The delivery was done at night. The driver was busting his butt to get here for us. We live in a rural community in the mountains and the roads are a little curvy and narrow. I was a little worried for him. He called me as he had no way of telling how far he was out because it was not freeways. It was 9:30 and he wanted to know if that was okay. We went down to the gas station and met him there. He unloaded the vehicle and we looked at it. We gave him a good tip and he was super friendly. I was very worried because he was going down through a canyon that is narrow and curvy, and that was very difficult for larger vehicles. He was pulling a really long trailer. But he did it. I texted him the next morning and he said he made it.”
“Resolution response: Jan. 25, 2019 If you need your vehicle transported from one state to another, Sherpa Auto Transport is the best company for the job! They treat you like family and will keep you posted through emails throughout the entire process. Sherpa Auto Transport – keep doing what you are doing, and you will become the number one auto transport company in the United States! I recently had death in my family and had to get my uncle’s car from Florida to Maryland. The paperwork to change ownership of the car was slow, but Sherpa Auto Transport stayed in touch with me. They called once a week to ensure me that the price we had initially agreed to would still be honored. They were very compassionate about my situation. They said as soon as I told them the car was ready, they would find a driver. Each step of the way, Sherpa Auto Transport followed up with an email. As soon as I told them the paperwork was in order, I got a call and an email within 20 minutes telling me the driver was ready to pick the car up. LMK Logistics showed up 30 minutes later. The driver was very courtesy, and I could tell he had many years of experience with loading and securing vehicles on the truck. My sister got the car within 24 hours telling her that the driver was about 30 minutes away from her home. After the car was delivered, I received another email from Sherpa Auto Transport confirming the delivery of my vehicle and to tell me that I was entitled to a free car wash on them. I have stored the name and number of this company in my phone for future reference. I highly recommend Sherpa Auto Transport to coordinate the move of any of your vehicles. You will not experience a better class of service. Thank you so much for easing my pain due to the death of my uncle. I will be using you and recommending you to others in the future.”

What is Car Shipping?
Car shipping, also known as auto transport or vehicle transport, is a specialized service provided by car shipping companies to move vehicles from one location to another. Whether you’re buying or selling a car online, relocating to a new home in Country Club, or needing to transport a vehicle abroad, car shipping companies have the expertise and equipment to handle the job safely and efficiently. These companies use specialized carriers and trailers to ensure your vehicle is transported securely, giving you peace of mind throughout the process.
About the Car Shipping Industry
Car shipping is a fascinating industry. There are Carriers – the businesses that pickup and transport vehicles – and there are Brokers – the businesses that help Carriers source their customers. Carriers are primarily mom & pop small businesses who own and operate their trucks and trailers – many of whom own and operate their businesses out of Florida. This means there are thousands of carriers and this fragmentation creates a need for centralization. That’s why Carriers rely on Brokers – like Sherpa – to help optimize their loads and source business for them. Sherpa vets Carriers and has a strict list of requirements for any Carrier looking to do business with Sherpa Auto Transport.
