What our Parker customers say about Sherpa:
“One of the negative comments, I found it to be reasonable or it was responded to by Sherpa, so I thought it would be better going with them. If something breaks on my car, it will be really expensive to fix it and I thought it would be better to go with a reputable company. There was one glitch though. I moved to Wisconsin before my car was picked up from Colorado and I wasn’t getting any communication when my car would be picked up.”
“The driver contacted us frequently and keep us update on their schedule. They showed up on time and delivered on time. Our car arrived safe and sound. I like Helga Logistics Inc company which did the delivery job. Sherpa kept their promise and deliver. I used them twice with good experiences. Good services”
“We contracted with Sherpa to arrange transport of an automobile we purchased from our daughter and son-in-law in Connecticut to our home near Boulder, Colorado. Sherpa notified us that it had found a transporter, that the price would be about $200 higher than its estimate, and that Sherpa would cover the difference–so we paid exactly what Sherpa had promised.”

Factors that affect Parker Car Shipping Prices
- Distance: The distance between Parker, CO and your destination significantly impacts car shipping costs. Longer distances generally mean higher prices, but per-mile rates often decrease for longer journeys.
- Transport Type: Open carriers are the most common and cost-effective option for auto transport to or from Parker. Enclosed transport, while about 50% more expensive, offers additional protection from Colorado’s varying weather conditions, including occasional hail storms.
- Vehicle Size: Larger or heavier vehicles, such as SUVs or trucks popular in Parker’s suburban landscape, typically cost more to ship due to the space and weight they occupy on the carrier.
- Route Accessibility: Parker’s proximity to major highways like E-470 and I-25 can positively influence shipping costs, as carriers prefer easily accessible routes.
- Seasonal Factors: Winter weather in Parker, including potential snow and ice, may affect shipping rates and timelines. Summer months often see increased demand and slightly higher prices for car transport services.
- Vehicle Condition: Operable vehicles are easier and cheaper to transport. If your car isn’t running, inform your auto transport company, as this may require special equipment and increase costs.
- Flexibility: Being flexible with your pickup and delivery dates can often result in better rates for car shipping to or from Parker, CO.
Understanding these factors can help you make informed decisions when shipping your car to or from Parker, CO. Tips & Tricks for Saving on Vehicle Shipping
- Book early: Schedule your Parker car shipping at least two weeks in advance. This allows carriers to optimize routes and potentially bundle your vehicle with others, increasing the chances of a lower rate.
- Choose open transport: Opt for open car shipping services to get the lowest rates. While enclosed carriers are necessary for some vehicles, open transport offers more flexibility and cost-saving opportunities.
- Pick strategic locations: Discuss with Sherpa Auto Transport advisors about pickup and dropoff points near major highways like I-25 or E-470. Locations easily accessible to carriers can help reduce fuel costs and potentially lower your rate.
- Empty your vehicle: Remove personal items from your car before shipping. This reduces weight and eliminates concerns about item safety during transport.
- Be flexible: Offer a range of dates for pickup and delivery. The more flexible you are, the more options you’ll have for finding cost-effective auto transport solutions.
- Consider off-peak seasons: If possible, schedule your car shipping during less busy times. Winter months often see lower demand for auto transport services in Parker, CO, potentially leading to better rates.

Parker, Colorado Vehicle Transport FAQs
How do I prepare my vehicle for transit to or from Parker?

Is my vehicle insured transporting to or from Parker?
Yes, our quotes are all-inclusive. All of our carriers are required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $100,000 in cargo insurance. To ship your vehicle, we verify that the carrier’s insurance policy is valid and in good standing for the duration of your shipment.
All contracted carriers also add Sherpa as a Certificate Holder on their insurance policy.
How far out should I schedule my pickup service from Parker?
The sooner, the better. We recommend at least two weeks, but it’s ideal to post your shipment as soon as possible so that carriers can bundle your shipment with others in the same location.
How do I pay for my auto transport to Parker?
No payment is due at the time of booking. We do require a payment method on file so that it is available to charge once a carrier is secured. We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. The most convenient option is to pay for your shipment in full by credit card at the time a carrier is secured.
We also allow you to pay for your Initial Payment via credit or debit card and then pay the outstanding balance on delivery day via cash or a certified check made out to the carrier.

What’s the difference between Open vs Enclosed Auto Transport?
Enclosed transport is at least 50% higher than open trailers. Of course, if there are transportation restrictions or safety challenges the carrier will work with you to arrange an alternative location, such as a nearby gas station or parking lot.

We provide one locked-in price upfront and stick to it. If unexpected costs arise, we pay them out of our own pocket. While we may not always be the cheapest option at first glance, our commitment to transparency and reliability offers exceptional value. What types of vehicles can you transport?
We transport sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, vans and motorcycles across the nation, including service to Alaska and Hawaii. At this time, we do not service boats, golf carts, ATVs, or RVs. Reviews from our Colorado Customers
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as evidenced by our 4.9 rating with over 8,000 reviews. Here are a few more reviews from satisfied Colorado customers:
“Sherpa was absolutely phenomenal. I was doing the auto transport for my sister-in-law who was moving from Colorado to Pennsylvania. She`s wasn`t in the best frame of mind, so we did all of the work to get Sherpa to do this. We made the phone call in November and the car was being picked up in December. Sherpa managed to find somebody who was going to pick up the car, and they were all set up and ready to get there in December. They were booked, but that night, my sister-in-law called and said that she was getting overwhelmed and we needed to cancel. So, we cancelled, paid the cancellation fee, and it was no big deal. The following day, my sister-in-law changed her mind and we re-upped the contract. However, there was a computer glitch in the system and it didn`t back the previous company out of the contract with us, so when we re-upped, we then had two active contracts. Two companies were gonna show up at different days to try to take our car. Sherpa had no idea because the company was the one who needed to know that they were no longer supposed to be coming, and they somehow were never notified. The company showed up and got the car, but it was on a totally different day than we were told they would be coming because it was the original date. Sherpa did all of the leg work. They contacted the people and met with the driver to make sure it was legit. They also refunded the cancellation fee because technically, we got the first contract. They called us every step of the way. They went above and beyond even though the mistake was caused by us cancelling.”
“I recently used Sherpa for car transport to send a vehicle to my daughter in Colorado. We decided on Sherpa because a neighbor had a positive experience with them. I compared two other companies before making my decision. The setup process with Sherpa was straightforward. I completed everything online, and they contacted me the next day to confirm the order. The pickup was arranged for two days later. Since the transport truck couldn’t access our street, I met the driver in a nearby commercial area. He was very helpful and efficient, leaving a good impression on me. Sherpa provided a delivery estimate of 5 to 10 days, and the car was delivered in six days. My daughter, who received the car, did not report any issues other than the vehicle being dirty, given that it was transported on an open carrier. I was also happy with Sherpa’s pricing. The quote given initially was the exact amount we paid. This was reassuring, especially since my daughter, a young woman, was the one to receive the car. I felt comfortable with Sherpa and I would use them again.”
“My experience with Sherpa was great. Really great reservation system and fantastic customer support and communication along the way. Sherpa and all of its competitors are essentially brokers. They`re going to use their network to find a third party to ship your vehicle. So you should know that in advance. It`s hard to blame any broker for poor delivery service…but you should trust that they would make thing right should anything go wrong. Fortunately, I didn`t have to worry about any of that. My third party hauler was great. They communicated wonderfully and got my vehicle from Colorado to Chicago in less than 48 hours from pickup. I had to push back my vehicle pick up due to the dealership and both Sherpa and the third party hauler were great to work with. Go with Sherpa. It was the best price, the best online experience and had amazing customer support and communication.”
“Sincerely our experience with Sherpa was SPOT ON!! From my initial conversation with Dillon who put things in motion to our communication with our driver Samuel Akoto who handled the pick up and delivery of my son`s auto from Colorado to Virginia our experience came without glitches from beginning to end!! I will definitely recommend Sherpa Auto Transport as well as, use their services again!! Thank you Dillon and Sam for your honesty and professionalism!! Doris Cooper and son Ty Curry….we appreciate each of you.”
“I used Sherpa to transport a 2016 Chevy Equinox from Colorado to New York. The entire process went extremely well. Sherpa gave me complete information on how to prep the car for transport, and the company that actually moved the vehicle (UZ Auto Trans – selected by Sherpa) did an excellent job. Everyone I dealt with. from Kendra at Sherpa to the drivers at UZ, were friendly and professional. The car arrived in perfect condition and much earlier than estimated. The next time i need an auto transport, I`ll return here.”

What is Car Shipping?
Car shipping, also known as auto transport or vehicle transport, is a specialized service provided by car shipping companies to move vehicles from one location to another. Whether you’re buying or selling a car online, relocating to a new home in Parker, or needing to transport a vehicle abroad, car shipping companies have the expertise and equipment to handle the job safely and efficiently. These companies use specialized carriers and trailers to ensure your vehicle is transported securely, giving you peace of mind throughout the process.
About the Car Shipping Industry
Car shipping is a fascinating industry. There are Carriers – the businesses that pickup and transport vehicles – and there are Brokers – the businesses that help Carriers source their customers. Carriers are primarily mom & pop small businesses who own and operate their trucks and trailers – many of whom own and operate their businesses out of Colorado. This means there are thousands of carriers and this fragmentation creates a need for centralization. That’s why Carriers rely on Brokers – like Sherpa – to help optimize their loads and source business for them. Sherpa vets Carriers and has a strict list of requirements for any Carrier looking to do business with Sherpa Auto Transport.
